This online toolkit is a product of years of experience. Anthea has combined research into the experiences of mentors in healthcare with a varied career immersed in a variety of workplaces. How to use the website
There are four main areas for mentors. You can get into these areas via the links just above here, and via the main page navigation. There's no particular order in which to explore. You will probably find you are dipping in and out of various parts of the site as thoughts or challenges arise.
Managers play a key role in making sure mentors can do their work well and feel supported. In the pages about learning, personal feelings and looking after yourself, you'll find some tips for managers inserted in pertinent places. There is also a dedicated page for managers bringing together the tips for managers that are embedded in the pages of the kit.
